Thank you for the calculations... 4 pounds looks like a good target.
The only plane I could find in that weight was a Zen 30. Looks like
a good plane for conversion.

I thought the formosa was way to small for this setup? I will look
again. Foam is not on the top of my list, but I will check it out.

The Brio 10 looks real nice. If I had not purchased this setup I
would have waited for the plane to be available... Once it comes
out maybe I can stuff the 2826/10 in it !?!?

Balsa kit or arf is fine. Foam would be last on my list.

CA model Epsilon 40 would be great if I could lighten it some
but from the pictures it looks lightened already.

I have seen pictures of a Zen 30 with the landing gear mounted
on the fuse and it lookd pretty nice. I think I read that the Zen 30
is discontinued ?
