If you'd prefer an ARf type set up as i've said before, they are all much of a muchness, IMHO the best package value for money at the moment are both from Addies hobbies, $495 and $550 (or there abouts)
for a seperate buy go for GMS47, TT46pro motor, Hitec flash5 or laser 6 radio and just about any ARF trainer.

You could try a place called "the bow hut" who deals in second hand gear or the trading post out tomorrow, either that or ask at a club to see if there is any second hand gear available.
