I''m getting ready to put this engine on a GP Yak 54. The manual calls for a 4.8 - 6V battery for the ignition system. Current draw is 500 mAh @ max RPM. My question is, what does a higher (or lower) voltage do for the engine performance, if any?

I am just getting into gassers so take it easy on me.
