Default RE: BME 115

ORIGINAL: RCIGN1

I also talked to Keith today, comfirm everything RTK said....4 lbs + or - a few oz....
I also have two of the 110 cranks here to straighten...They are made exclusively for BME, not chainsaw parts for those of you who think chainsaw parts are something to be avoided or not acknowledged...The rods have BME cast into the center, the ends are made only for Keith...Same goes for the cylinders and pistons, and the cases...The cylinders are made to his specs, few manufacturers can make this claim..The prop hubs are 2024 aluminum...
The case is 3 pieces, the center part is a solid piece with holes for the cylinders and crank. Very rigid...The front and rear parts containing the bearings bolt on, easily replaceable if needed without having to buy a whole crankcase...
All in all a GREAT new size engine...
Ralph:
I have read some posts that claim that the BME cylinders are made by the same company that makes cylinders for 3W and DA. Any truth to that? How about the cranks?
