Default RE: BME 115

At last, someone who actually READS the whole post without jumping to conclusions..
I LIKE chainsaw parts, most of the Zenoah engines are made from the Red Max brand of chainsaws...Quadra and US Engines were chainsaws...I have converted many different chainsaws, the largest being a Stihl 090, 138cc....D&B engines, BME engines, Fox, FPE, Brison, Air Hobbies, and EVEN the Taurus use chainsaw parts...
My problem is with manufacturers who claim their engines are NOT made from chainsaw parts...Why not admit it ? You couldn't wear out a chainsaw conversion in a lifetime of flying one on a model airplane...Unless something is done to the ports and crank the engine is still basically a chainsaw, no matter what the mount or prop hub looks like, or what makes the spark...
Chainsaw is not a dirty word...
