RCshadow, no go I just about tried everything yesterday and today to get the damn minidv cam connected to the laptop it just wont work, am connecting it via the analog s-video port behind the laptop to an adaptor that splits into audio and video and s video, and nope it wont work, I thin this adaptor wont even work supposed to be for the laptop to tv.

I am going to pop to sony's warehouse tommorrow and see If I can locate an I link cable to usb or some other cable that will make this cam work. If all else fails am itching for an excuse to get a new cam this one needs to dust.

Will see tommorrow have my eyes set on the 1080i. Will see one way or another am going to get that vid online.
