I don't have a 40, but my Magic hovers around 2/3 throttle with the .46LA on 10% nitro. I have all standard servos in the plane.

It does not take a month of Sundays to wind up with the 12.25x3.75 prop, only three weeks of Sundays

All the other props I tried 11x4, 11x5, 11.5x4 spooled faster but took very near full throttle to hold a hover with nothing to spare
