NEW BRISONs??????
Mr. rc,
One minor point, except for the 2.4, the cases are anodized not "ionized".
On my Brison 5.8 I had the same problem with the sensor backing out. Fortunately for the Corsair, it was about 100' high when the engine quit and I easily made it back to the runway. The set screw did not make any thread marks on the sensor as it should have. I pushed it in until it bottomed out and then pulled it back about 0.030". I then glued it to the ring with Zap-A-Dap-A-Goo. No more trouble.
This seems like a very easy task to get right the first time but drilling that hole in the right place for the set screw must be extremely difficult. Go figure.
I haven't heard of any new Brison engines. It seems they are getting left behind in the weight, power output, and price catagories. An example: the new ZDZ 100cc twin sold by RC Showcase for $945 and weighing 4 lb 15 oz with ignition.
