Avistar question again
I am just about finishing up with this club trainer right now, and I noticed the tank is a good 1" below the carb needle. There doesn't seem to be any way to relocate the tank/engine location to put the mid tank fuel level closer to the needle location on this arf without significant mod. I am wondering if you guys with Avistar have any problems with fuel feed problems during low fuel situations? The engine is a Royal 40 ABC with a pressure tap at the muffler to pressurize the tank.
The other question is bracing for the landing gear. One controlled crash from a newbie, and I can easily see the main gear giving out. What bracing do you use to give the gears more strength?
