3W-55 carb problems
I have a new 3W-55 that that i am having problems with. It ran good first couple of tanks. now i have to prime it every time to crank it. It runs good in the air once started. I have no bubbles in the fuel line and it has fuel all the way to the carb. It pulls fuel to the carb in about 3 or 4 flips but will not start unless its primed. It will pop on choke then i remove choke flip it and starts for a second then dies. out of curiosity i turned the low speed needle out 2 turns from factory setting and it started right up BUT, it will not idle due to it is now too rich. so i turned it back in 1/8 at a time until i got it to idle again, Now it wont start unless primed, AAAAUUUUUGGGGHHHH. I am positive there is no fault in the tank and fuel lines, is it a carb fault or a reed problem. Also i do not have a line on the carb pressure nipple on front of the carb, it was running and starting fine without it and the guy from 3w said you dont have to hook it up. Can anyone shed some light? Thanks. One more thing, the choke is closing completely when i choke it.
