David, are you saying that you are a full scale pilot, but have never flown an RC model? And you want to learn to fly RC with a scale twin?[:-]

Full-scale pilots have a harder time learning to fly RC than non-pilots because of all the things the full-scale pilots have to un-learn. And twins are much more critical in assembly, tuning and maintenance than singles.

Have you lined up an RC instructor yet? Is he experienced with scale RC twins?
