RE: Good rtr Buggy Please Help
Just one point that I need to make. The matrix is a good buggy but you need to upgrade the spur gear and drive cups almost right out of the box... like I said my friend went through 3 diff cups very quickly while I still have the originals in my MP777 that I've had for a year and they aren't even half worn. The matrix is really the only buggy that I know of with drive tran wear like this and my only question is why doesn't it just come with a CNC spur gear and better drive cups in the first place? If your going to bash and do light racing your better off just getting a mayhem and not worry about parts wearing out quickly or upgrading anything to soon. If I was choosing my first buggy I sure as hell wouldn't get an RTR with a problem like that especially with something that can get pretty costly quick like these drive tran components.
I'd love to see Cen fix that minor problem because its a great buggy but it is a big enough problem to turn off a lot of people from getting the buggy. The guy who ownes the local track doesn't even touch his anymore because he doesn't feel like screwing with the drive cups again. You can literally see wear on them after the very first tank of usage on some new cups.
