I started my tank collection with a 40USD Radio Shack M1A1 ! So, yes start out with something economical to see if you like it and let your ambition (and your wallet) be the limit!

BTW The Radio Shack is still a favourite! Runs better than Tamiya on occassion[sm=eek.gif]
