Default RE: Will this work for Stuart?

hello jstrat121 did'nt understand all of your question? was it on speed controllers if so they will work fine but you have to size speed controller to size of motors as in (watts) or in number of turns of a motor. use caution when buying a speed controller so that it is sized accordingly if not sized right it they could go up in smoke[:@] i'am looking at a vantek dual motor speed controller for my 1/9 abrams it came with what i think was 540 motors but was not big enough to turn the new gear boxes but now i'am using motors rated at a higher wattage, amps and higher voltage as in 12volts. as for the rotation of turret i have heard of using a geared servo motor for turret rotation i think some of the other guy's have done this? not shure but if they have they will let you know how they did it as said i'am in the process of up grading my 1/9 abrams i have already replaced gear boxes and motors next is the vantek dual motor speed controller then a new radio controller the only thing i connot replace (aford) is the new metal tracks i have priced them bya @ $650.00 without shipping so i'am not going to do that for this project[] if your stuart is like my abrams the road wheels are very weak so one must be careful where they run them anyway hope you find what you needthe guy's on the forum are very helpful and knowledgeable (bailed me out a time or two and was very helpful)good luck on your stuartdan
