wildblueyawner, You have me confused here. Did you mean to say the lack of DesignFoil's sophisication in this regard? It appears from the posted polar's that XFoil did a good job.
Sorry for the confusing wording - Wanted to say XFoil is more sophisticated and does a better job, because the polars it generates are NOT smoothly continuous at low Re (closer to reality).
