Default RE: E-flite Ultimate FX

Hey guys, well I've maidened my ultimate today. My first flight was pretty bad... I was running a 10x4.7 prop and then at full power I could hardly gain altitude, only on the up wind. So then I landed and changed my prop to a 11x4.7, there was quite some difference there. I didn't need to fly at full power but at 3/4, still pretty bad, but that was the only prop that I had at the field that I could change for the 10x4.7. So next time I'm going to be able to put a 12x6 on it and see.

And for checking for my draw, when I was running my pheonix 10 ams esc with the 11x4.7 prop, I ran it for 30 seconds at full power and there was no heating at all, so i'm pretty sure that putting a 12x6 on it is going to be pretty good.

For flight performance asides the lack of power. I got to say that this thing is a FLOTTER, with just a little power it would just come down like a piece of paper, very slowly. With the 11x4.7 prop, I could manage easily a hovey a just just one click under full power and it was pretty easy, there was no need for me to use ailerons to counteract the torque of the motor, and just a little up elevator.

I think this plane is going to be pretty good after I put the 12x6 prop on it.

Thanks
