Default RE: engine conversion

kahn41
I am converting two ryobi at the moment and have a homelite 45cc I used to be able to get homelites
localy and cheep BigLots used to sell remanufactured equipment but now they have stopped.
any engine that you can get parts for will make things easier like anything harbor freight sells
ive noticed that BigLots has been selling polan recently so I may have to switch to those
also a good word to watch for is remanufactured=discount ,thats good usually.
another word to look for is "emission,or california compliant" translates for the most part to, save
your money theres no power here.
something else to consider is conversion parts availability hub mounts muffler mount etc.
in the inexpensive 31cc class ryobi stands alone, hard to beat.homelite, makes one, its new
havent seen much on it . suposed to be a homelite\ryobi hybrid, by parent company m.t.d.others are
chainsaws and they get more expensive.
