I think that you will hurt the performance with the 12 x 6 prop as you will loose a lot of prop wash when hovering and other low speed manuevers. I am using the 11 x 4.7 after flying with the 12 x 6 for a while. Thats what I think but let me know what you think after you try it and tell us what you find.
