Hi guys, further to my earlier posts.... be cautious with the undercarriage of your Edge. I have been recommended to use plastic bolts as our flying field is quite rough and it puts a lot of stress on the internal mounting structure. The undercarriage member is very big and strong but isn't held in by a lot so it's always the weekest link to go....

Here's a pic of my repair incorporating 2 extra stringers, resheeting with balsa and covering with some white... I couldn't find the right colour red at the model shop and the plane has white anyway so it matched relatively well.

Not a bad job for someone who likes the flying more than the building side of the hobby ( I even used sandpaper :-0 )
