The best thing you can do is forget the powerpanel, wired glow ingiter, corded starter, etc. Powerpanels are one of the snake oils of RC.
Excuse me? I've been using a power panel and wired glow ignitor FOR YEARS! I've tried glow ignitors and find they don't work as well as the driver in the power panel. I've never come close to having the wires get caught in the prop. There have been plenty of occasions where someone couldn't get their engine going with a glow ignitor, but it then started with a couple flips when hooked up to the power panel.
