I have the big hobbico battery attached to my starter using a couple "BIG" wire ties. I cut the cord from the starter and attached some different connnectors for the battery. Been using that design for years.

I know they make special battery pack sets for this but they don't seem to have the "????" to turn over a healthy engine.
