Sorry Poco, but ALL the G26s I have converted tach at least 8800 out of the box, some a little higher....I use a TNC tach, you have a better one ?...Mejzlik 18-6 prop, altitiude 6800 feet, 32-1 fuel..Timing is 28 BTDC..I put a Mac's Products pipe on one and got 10,000....Tried one in Phoenix, altitude 1000 feet, same result, 17+ lbs pull on the tail wheel...
These numbers have been verified by many of the customers, some have more than one engine...
FWIW, the ThrustHp chart shows 25+ lbs thrust..
A G38 runs about the same with that prop...a Conversion does nothing to make them run better..They run the same unconverted, just heavier...
