That confirms pretty much what I was thinking but just wanted to check. I have a Hobbico gun, but it does not seem to get to the temperature that is necessary to shrink some films. I have never, for instance, been able to burn a hole in MonoKote, no matter how long I hold the gun on it, and as a result, I don't shrink the film as much as I would like to. Fortunately, about 95% of what I do is done with an iron, so the gun is really a non-issue. Thanks for the input.
