Hoaa,

I would check to see what switch is controlling the gyro "Gear" function. That's the switch you need to flip to change from head holding to non-head holding mode. If your 401 is blinking, then headholding is off.

Once this is done, I would start with a gyro gain of about 60 and then dial down (or up) to keep that tail rock solid. You'll find that when you activate the GEAR switch (and headholding is off) the "GEAR" setting will change to the negative number (-100 for example) and then when you switch it back to headholding mode it'll be in the positive direction. You should change the setting for the headholding mode (and then for the non-headholding mode if desired). I think the default switch for the 6102 is the left upper switch.
