Default RE: Clutch spring

Well , the clutch spring finally broke ! At the request of Redcat I let the car idle for along time. Four tanks of fuel this thing idled for . Then the idle got a little lower , and the car started to get quiet. I seen my Tornado riding off with out me at the wheel. It was a less then impressive sight but a sight !! I'm telling you , it looked so stupid idling away I could not stop laughing. That was the most fun I've had with this car yet. I think I'm really getting a warped sence of humor with this car.

The tech guy wanted me to leave the car idle with the radio on figuring it would heat up the radio. I told him I think just driving the car might work better but since it decided it didn't like being in one piece that it was not possible at the moment. So , the idle treatment. He tried to lighten up the whole thing joking about how it won't act up when you need it to. I told him " No , it won't quit unless everything else is working" Why quit when you don't have to ? Something else broke for you and now you can wait your turn !

Ok , when the car is running again , we are going to figure this radio out.

Things that went wrong:

Engine siezed
Radio quit
Steering arm broke , after the radio quit smashing it into a fixed object
New Transmitter , new steering arm , starter falls off
Fixed starter , loctited everything, reworked ckutch bell that was shaking , radio quit again
Steering arm broke again while playing in the grass ... bad grass !
Clutch Spring broke, its ok I've got a new one was just wanting to see how long it would take to brake.

I think I've spent more time fixing then driving.
