I have been reading why the lanier kits are building a little heavy and I think its because of their wood selections. The 16 sheets required to sheet the wing had weight ranges from 19 grams to 35 g. I have replace 9 of them so they now come in between 13 and 22 grams, saving almost 4 ounces. Did you take any extra measures in lightening your airframe during construction, or did you build stock?
