If you can afford going to a smaller size/diameter tire this will aid in acceleration. A different diameter tire will affect the rollout of a car. A smaller rollout ratio will give greater acceleration results.

Going with a lightened flywheel will also help acceleration. It will alow the engine to get up to speed faster. This will be a small improvement but it all adds up in the end.
