I would highly recommend the Hitec 05S recievers. I recently switched to them and they work FANTASTIC. Not so much as a tiny glitch. And to top it all off they are 5/6ch rx's so you can run dual ailerons servos. They weigh about the same as the little GWS 4ch rx's.

I noticed you said Carbon. Carbon fiber is well known for causing radio glitches. Try to route the antenna away from carbon fiber. Carbon Fiber is conductive, and notorious for causing all sorts of problems.
