Default NEED GLITCHING ADVICE

I need someone to refer me to a link or give me a checklist to isolate glitching in my electric foamy. It's foam and carbon. 3 axis
with Hitec 555 rec. and hs-55 servos. Himax 2015 and 3 cell lipo. Glitches like crazy 30 ft away, (antenna down). Power on or off.
How do I begin?

Thanks Ed

What receiver are you running, GWS? Are you gettilng glitches in flight close in or far out, or do you get far out. If getting a short glitch in flight once in a while, seems to be normal for our current invironment nwith electrics. If you cant cure it any other way, go to a high quality receiver, berg, JR, etc. which should cure your problem. My hacker, GWS, Phoenix system does the same thing at about 40', as does my AXI, Phoenix GWS, but gets flown anyway and is still in the air after about 9 months now, more so way out. It never locks up, just a hit.

I would highly recommend the Hitec 05S recievers. I recently switched to them and they work FANTASTIC. Not so much as a tiny glitch. And to top it all off they are 5/6ch rx's so you can run dual ailerons servos. They weigh about the same as the little GWS 4ch rx's.

I noticed you said Carbon. Carbon fiber is well known for causing radio glitches. Try to route the antenna away from carbon fiber. Carbon Fiber is conductive, and notorious for causing all sorts of problems.

the smaller rx's i have found do not have the range check with the antenna down as do say a futaba 8 channel fm in a glow plane..about 100 feet or so...but you fly your foamie 1/2 if not less the distance to you...I have the 6 channel GWS with like a 20inch antenna...i can fly to my sight limits..no hits...i fly every night if the wind is not up...route away from the carbon...then go fly...IMO

or could be.........[X(][X(][X(] JUST KIDDING

Solved the problem with a ferrite ring from JR. Wrapped the SC through the ring just before reciever.

Thanks everyone. Ed
