On my Hanger 9 P-51 we mounted the antenna mast using MEDIUM CA. We did this by removing the covering around the contact surface on the mast itself and applying ca on all the sides of the bare wood but the bottom which contacts the foam. With the hole properly cut out, just slide it in and set it straight. We also put a drop of ca on the top to secure the antenna to the mast. Works great and looks great!
