Check your slipper clutch as well, i was having issues with my rush, it simply was not hooking up on any surface. i then realized the engine was revving, but the tires weren't spinning. i took a look at the slipper pad when i got it back in the house, and it was completely glazed and worn down. i got a new pad and it fixed it. try that too
