what is the difference here????
the foamy will NOT take a hit harder than the wood version. By foamy I am talking about the ASAP blue version. Stay away from it! I had the 40 size. I can say that it was very light and flew beautifully. However, in a takeoff incident I managed to rip the foam covering in about a 5 inch gash. This stuff is not easily repaired! The plane is basically a ply stick skeleton covered with a thin foam/plastic hybrid covering, typical of the early ARF's. You would be much better off getting the all wood version. It will be a little heavier than the foam version but worth it in durability and repairability.
