also, the blue and red one is discontinued, you'll be hard pressed to find it anymore, i know tower no longer has any, but i have flown both and will tell you both fly very good. please do not be afraid of foam wings, as most airplanes when they get larger have foam core wings i.e. lanier edge, extra, cap ,the foam wings are actually more strong in a wing type setting, i have never had a problem with a foam wing plane.

The foam wing will be a little heavy compaired to the built up, but the foamy will take a hit better. Whats the difference between a dog and a wife?.....The dog is happier to see you the latter you get home.

I am not concerned with weight.......30 oz wingloading ...could care less. In my opinion 25-30 oz wingloading land better anyways...I hate floaters.......

the foamy will NOT take a hit harder than the wood version. By foamy I am talking about the ASAP blue version. Stay away from it! I had the 40 size. I can say that it was very light and flew beautifully. However, in a takeoff incident I managed to rip the foam covering in about a 5 inch gash. This stuff is not easily repaired! The plane is basically a ply stick skeleton covered with a thin foam/plastic hybrid covering, typical of the early ARF's. You would be much better off getting the all wood version. It will be a little heavier than the foam version but worth it in durability and repairability.
