Flypuck, No silly questions just ask away. I just slide it on the brass inlet and use a small wire tie. I wire tie all my fuel connections, even in the tank. Actually I use two on each attaching point. Overkill???... Maybe. Maybe not. Make sure you use the fuel line that will go on the inlet but with a little force. It should not just slide on real easy or you may have problems.
