I have done so for my Gee Bee Y. I feel that they turned out well, but you will have to fuelproof them with clear Monokote if you are running a glow plane. I went to an office shop and bought some clear material with a sticky backing. Roughly 2 dollars per sheet for an 8.5x11 sheet.
