42% Ultimate?
Only Chip Hyde and Mike McConville have these planes to date. Betwen the two I'd first say go AeroWorks, due to the Hangar 9 has no air balances on the elevators. This is one of the "coolest" parts of an Ultimate. As for weight and such, who cares! The AeroWorks just won the TOC. It is obviously capable of the best pattern like aerobatics and 3D stuff there is. The Hangar 9 hasn't won much yet. By it's nature a biplane will tumble and spin better than a monoplane. For Harriers small biplanes suffer horrible wing rocking. The bigger birds have less of a problem with that. They both will need MUCHO power. Chip's plane used a new DA-200 four cylinder engine. CHA-CHING$$$$!!! The Hangar 9 is reported to be flying with a DA-150, not quite as much CHA-CHING$$$$!!! Either you choose should be quite a plane. I wonder when they will actually be available for shipping? Probably another CHA-CHING$$$$!!! After that they need in the neighborhood of 15 servos, 2 receivers, and 2 batteries. If you do end up getting one, post a report for us who can only dream.
