The ultra performance OS91VRDF is nickel plated. There most also be some other reasons for the OS using ABN instead of the ABC, than just saving money.

Webra50 and Thunder Tiger pro46 both being very good engines is also using ABN on the sleeve instead of the ABC.

IMO longevity is not the only important thing for a modeler here but, reliability and power. I dont have the Evolution so I can not say anything about it.
