A guy learning with a NexStar in our club has had some bad luck. Due to a spotter mixup, he had a head on with a Tiger 60 just as it touched down on the runway. Wing got chewed up by the Tiger's prop. He then clipped a tree on landing and cartwheeled through the parking lot (pavement). Wing was okay, engine was ripped from the firewall, but all was fixed up and she's still flying today. They seem pretty durable.
