I like the hobbico avastar select. It is a good trainer and as your flying skills improve the plane can and will make a good 2th plane. I still fly my avastar select after 7 years in this hobby. It will almost knife edge . It will hover in 3D with a 12-4 prop. Flat spin and waterfalls too. Best of all it comes ready to fly......for about $350.00 All you need is fuel and a glow stick... Avastar Select has a semetrical airfoil. Most trainers are flat bottom which mean that don't like flying inverted. I have 36 planes and my avastar always go to the field every time I do...
