Default AV8R

Hey guys,

A few quick facts about AV8R that may be overlooked are, first and foremost are cost and build time. Cost is less than 350 and includes wheels, tires, landing gear, wheel collars, hardware, canopy (you name it) and all. A dedicated weekend and few evenings will see your AV8R ready for flight on most cases. I have one documented built from box ready to cover in just 9 hours 45 minutes. There is a very detailed instruction manual with a lot of photos. While it is a kit, the super simplified build process gives it a head start on nearly every other type of kit.

Modelers who have the AV8R are reporting the same thing to us – They simply are able to put in more flights during any given trip to the field than with the other jets they may have. It is a very durable and forgiving model that allows you to fuel and fly day after day. Also while the AV8R is defiantly a low cost, low hassle aircraft, it also has surprising flight performance that belies its awkward looks. Yes, on the ground it may not be the sleekest jet but in the air, pilots like the way it looks and presents itself, it really takes on a jet presence in the air. It is a very capable performer and has the ability to put up a very respectable show.
