Thanks for all the responses guys. I have bought my LAST OS after buying and flying them for many years. They run great but EVERY OS engine I ever had failed due to the liner peeling after just 1 or 2 seasons. I never ran them lean, or abused them in any way, the nickel is just an inferrior material. Anyone that is not capable of seeing this fact about OS engines is just an idiot and deserves what they get.

When I asked about the peeling on the OS support forum, in a very nice way, my post was deleted by the moderator. Seems that no one is allowed to talk about real probelms there, just needle valve settings and stuff like that. Pretty sad for a great engine manufacutrer produce such garbage for the purpose of selling more liner and piston sets. I hope the chinese put OS out of business.
