The speed controller you have is the GWS ICS300/F Speed Control 8A. Did you read the directions for it, and are you sure you are arming it correctly? I think you have to plug it all in, and then hold full throttle for three seconds and when it beeps, it is ready. The instructions should tell you about this. If it still doesn't work after doing that, reverse the throttle and try it again.
