RE: Which engine for a Funtana S from Hangar 9
Gus,
I'm very happy with it, but I may not know any better because it's the only fuel plane I have ever flown! Hovers are rock solid and simple. I can't get it to flat spin though. It may be because my CG is too far forward. It does wing rock in a upright Harrier. I've read that if you mix flaps with elevator the Harrier will smooth out. Unfortunately my Futaba 6EXA TX doesn't have a mix for that. I'm planning on a new radio soon. I love doing an inverted elevator into the wind. At idle it just floats straight down like it's full of helium! I have noticed that at slow airspeed during certain maneuvers, the wing can stall and you definitely need a little altitude when that happens. I'm running massive control surface deflections and that could be a contributing factor though.
