HURRICANES,,,HURRICANES,,,, HURRICANES,,,, Thats what I hear all the time. I lived here since 1980 and I went thru only one that done any damage to my house, It was Charlie. I lost lots of trees and 3 shingle tabs. However I spent several weeks on overtime at the fire department putting up the blue tarps. The thing about hurricanes is that even if its a cat 5 it has to be a direct hit. when you get about 100 miles from the eye the winds drop off to tropical force winds. So hurricanes is the last thing i worry about. The thing about florida at least where I live (central Florida) is the dirtbags, homeless, urban dwellers, or the residentialy challanged. Central Florida is the *****HOLE of the world. I hate it here. So im looking to buy property so its paid for when I retire. I liked the Arizona area near the south rim of the canyon. Im not to keen on snow. So I'm looking for people who fly all year round and like where they live.
