o. k. so i just finished my CMP peashooter. with a saito 91 installed, moving the cowel forward 1/2 inch more, and reinforcing the inside of the fues with one layer of fiberglass back to the trailing edge of the wing saddle, this plane comes in at 10 lbs even, counting 27 oz of lead hung on the motor mount.
this seems way too heavy for me.
balance point is 105 mm back from the leading edge, and the gear was rebent to place the wheels 1.5 inches in front of the leading edge.
rx and 1100 Mah four cell batt pack shoved all the way up to the firewall.
question, will this thing fly ???
