Default RE: Warbird Kit? or Kit Cutter?

ORIGINAL: Mikel-t

Can I get some preferences for a good Giant Scale warbird kit? ( under 100") I would prefer Laser cut versus the TF stamped kits

Is the better route to go for quality by using plans and "Kit Cutters" from either Brian Taylor / Jerry Bates or Nick Ziroli ? .

My first choice in aircraft would be P-47 bubble then F6F then P-40. This is going to be an expensive exercise so I would appreciate all the insight I can get. As always thanks in advance to all that reply. Mikel-T

now flying 67" ModelTech P-47 w/saito 100
I have done all three, and in the same order as you suggested. I would reccomend Mace Gill at the Aeroplane Works to cut the kit. I started using his services back when his dad (rest his soul) was running the business. Never a disapointment.
