I have a quick ? for you all that are using the 400 920 kv on this plane. I just test flew mine for the first time. WOW!!! I have never had a plane go from the bench to the air W/O any needed trim. Not to mention I was hovering about 5 min. into the flight. Anyway, after about 10 minutes of just playing around at 1/2 throttle or less I landed to make sure everything was still in good order. E-flite 20 amp ESC, and TP 1320 3c 11.1v Gen3 cool to the touch, the motor however I couldnt keep my finger for longer than a second or two it was that hot. I am using a 10x3.8 APC slow flyer prop on it. This is only my 3rd electric and have had no problems like this before. Any thoughts? Is this normal for this motor? Thanks in advance.
