Published by Doubleday, 1973. I had computer trouble that left me unable to do scans for now, so I can't send pics from the book. But if you like WWI types this would probably be worth your while to search out on the internet--there have to be old copies out there.

Tallman was a Hollywood stunt pilot who flew an amazing variety of planes, from a 1910 Bleriot to Al William's Gulfhawk, including most of the famous WWI planes. The book is full of excellent photos and Tallman's descriptions of flying characteristics.

If this is for contest purposes, you'd be modeling a modern reconstruction. There is no documentation of the color scheme provided in the book, though it shows Air Service registration numbers. The SE-5A was used as a fighter trainer; Lindberg mentions flying them in "Spirit of St. Louis". There are no machine guns. Jim
