Default RE: Cessna Float Plane Project

Well the new work bench is complete and time to get back to work on the Cessna. A 48"x48"X5" block of 1# virgin foam was ordered for the core, the wing platform is laid out and I cut a couple of sections tonight, I may finish the rest tommorow before Miller time. The entire wing will be skinned as one section to avoid butt joints and glass tape reinforcement. Both wing skins are glued up, that took several days of butt gluing and edge matching to get the 96"x 16" skins finished. This will be the largest one piece wing I have made , the previous wing was 72" for an Ultimate. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.
