I doubt it was the wheel pants, I flew mine with them at first, but one fell off mid flight, so I ripped the other off. It doesn't need them anyways! I just figured out that the combo I like is technically a snap-up to a torque roll... it's exactly as I described, I just want aware that a snap roll, to wall was actually a snap up, not that it matters, I'm just still learning all the possible stunts... I'm guessing it was your CG, if it's to tail heavy, it makes sense that it would react that way. Not to mention the wind probably didn't help! I'm going to add a cf brace to my landing gear, to keep it from bending like that, basically make it into a triangle... It may be worth it to find a field with weeds and grass, it's much better for the plane than rocks and sand... even if it's a little further, it may be worth it.
Yes, if the plane's not set up the wind will dork it out big time.
